Hello, I'm Miquel. A family man, a gardener by profession and soul. In the photo, I'm joined by the loves of my life. I grew up between the sea and the mountains, and I never imagined I'd end up sowing so much life with my hands, enjoying the harvest every day with those I love most. \n<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It all started when I started researching what organic food was. <\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

My conclusions led me to believe that to achieve quality, locally sourced food, the best course of action was to get my hands dirty and grow my own food. \n<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

I started out with no idea whatsoever, but I was excited to learn.\nSo I started what would become my first garden, on a small piece\nof land at my in-laws' house. But until that moment,\nI had no idea what I had just done\u2026 What would\nhappen to me over time wasn't something taught in\ngardening books. <\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

It was like an awakening. <\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

Back then, I didn't yet understand what it would mean for my life.\nI was only clear that I wanted the best for my family and for the\nwell-being of the environment. But it ended up being much more than that. <\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Little by little, my experiments turned into experience.\nI continued reading, testing, growing, and\nperfecting my work in the soil. <\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

My failures reinforced my successes.<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

And once I'd been gardening for a year straight,\nit happened<\/u>. I felt a connection as primal <\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I saw that with something as basic as my hands, I could create something\nso vital for my own body. Being in contact with nature\nand doing such a stimulating activity made my mind absorb new things\nevery day. And the more I practiced, the more I wanted to keep learning. <\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

At that moment, it clicked, I understood everything, and I felt like sharing it.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I had found my purpose:\nto help families experience the same thing I did by growing their own

After a family dinner conversation in 2010, I planted\nHortus Domi, with the goal of giving others the support\nI wish I had had when I started, so that no one would get\nlost on the beautiful path of self-sustaining food. So I\ninvested all my time and effort into creating a solution\nfor those who found themselves where I had been. <\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A garden setup and maintenance service, to help,\nsupport, and motivate anyone who wanted to\nhave their own edible garden at home, but didn't\nknow how to start (or simply didn't have the time).<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
