Is the Hortus Domi Box right for me if I already have a garden?
Yes. The Box is specifically designed for people who already have an active garden and want to keep it organized, healthy, and productive all year round, without improvising or making mistakes.
What exactly does the Box include each month?
It includes seedlings, seasonal organic seeds, printed sheets with a sowing and harvesting calendar, pest control guides, and access to explanatory videos.
All tailored to that time of year.
Can I subscribe if I live outside of Mallorca?
Of course. We ship the Hortus Domi Box throughout Spain. You just need a space to grow (terrace, patio, garden) and the desire to do it conscientiously.
What if I don't have time to watch videos or read sheets?
Don't worry. The Box is designed to help you follow the essential tasks in just a few minutes a week. You can adapt the process to your pace and always have the information you need at hand when you need it.
How much does it cost and how do I subscribe?
You can purchase a one-time Box or choose a monthly or annual subscription. The annual option includes a personalized consultation.
When will I receive my Box and how do shipments work?
The boxes are hand-prepared and shipped every Tuesday (usually mid-month on Tuesdays), taking into account the seasonal planting schedule. You will receive your Hortus Domi Box directly at home within 24/48 hours to any point on the Iberian Peninsula or the Balearic Islands. This means they ship on Tuesdays mid-month and you will receive it at home on Wednesdays or Thursdays. We will let you know so you can plan ahead.
Do you ship to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, or Melilla?
We currently ship to all of Spain, except the Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla, which are not possible due to distance and customs.
I need an invoice for the Hortus Domi Box. Will I receive an invoice?
Yes, Hortus Domi issues an invoice for all services, and this is done automatically. It's very important that when you make a purchase, you enter the correct billing information and check for spelling errors. The same goes for the email address you wish to receive the invoice to. This is an automated system, so we can't make changes after the invoice is issued.
How do I pay for boxes with an annual subscription?
It's simple: select the size and make the annual payment (when you go to the shopping cart, the total will appear with the chosen size), and the promotion will be applied depending on the
payment type chosen.
- If you pay the annual fee in 11 installments, the last box (month 12) will be free.
- If you make a single payment for all 12 boxes, you'll get the last box free (you'll pay a total corresponding to the price of all 11 boxes and their shipping costs, and you'll receive the 12th box and its shipping costs as a gift) and a complimentary consultation with Miquel, which you can enjoy at any time of the year (the consultation included in the price will be 30 minutes for the annual fee for boxes from S to L and one hour for XL or larger).
The subscription payment method can be by credit card or direct debit.
How do you know what to plant each month?
Well, you won't need to ask yourself this question anymore, nor will you have to go through the headaches of searching, studying the right combinations to keep your garden balanced, or anything like that.
Your box will include everything you need to plant that month to ensure your garden is perfectly balanced and productive, as well as how to do it for success, and how to solve potential problems that may arise during that season.
The seedlings and seeds are ideal for that time of year and necessary for the balance of your garden's ecosystem, and that's essential. But of course, if there's something you prefer not to plant because you don't like it, let us know, and we'll provide you with an alternative that fulfills the same function within the ecosystem.
