Almost 13 years ago, I discovered that growing your own food is one of life's greatest satisfactions.
And that's how Hortus Domi was born… I started by growing a small organic garden for my own consumption. Little by little, I became passionate about the subject, and began to educate myself and practice different ways of cultivating, respecting, and balancing the earth.
I learned that gardening gives us many rewards, and working with it as a family is something that never ceases to bring us joy. That's why I decided I wanted to help everyone be able to grow their own food, or part of it, in an organic and respectful way, taking advantage of every corner. And here we are, planting vegetable gardens every day since 2012 with our company Hortus Domi!

Can I have an organic urban garden if I live in an apartment with a small balcony?
Yes, there’s no problem. In fact, at Hortus Domi, we've set up productive gardens in spaces as small as 1 m². The important thing isn't the size, but rather making good use of the space, selecting suitable crops, and having a good irrigation system and plant combinations.

All you need is:
- A well-lit space (any size, we've planted gardens from 1 m2 to 100 m2).
- Fertile soil (we'll help you create it).

How much time should you dedicate to an urban garden?

Yes, in Mallorca. You can choose between weekly, biweekly, or monthly visits. We detect and resolve pests, sow, replant, optimize your garden, and leave everything ready for you. You decide how involved you want to be.
We'll give you a quote, and if you accept, we'll start pampering your garden so it's super productive and looks splendid, month after month at the agreed-upon times. As for payments, we'll direct debit your bill so you don't have to worry.
What is the price of your services?
We have sessions starting at just €25, perfect for answering specific questions or validating decisions. If you want to know which one best suits you, you can see all the available formats here and book directly.
If you've already planted your garden and want to take the first step, you can do it all yourself with the Hortus Domi Box (from €29.95). You'll have everything you need to do it without making mistakes and with the explanations (and videos) necessary to ensure your crops arrive at your table safe and sound.
